State of Emergency declared in Italy – Coronavirus – Red Zone

The President of the Council of Ministers of Italy, Giuseppe Conte, published on the 9th of March 2020 the text of a decree with an effective application on the national territory until the 3rd of April 2020. The measures are presented below and concern the whole country.

  • TRANSPORTS

The transports for work, health and food are authorized.

  • ILL PEOPLE

The people who have respiratory or infectious problems or a fever over 37.5°C must stay at home, limit their encounters with other people and contact their doctor.

  • PEOPLE WHO ARE QUARANTINED

The people in quarantine are forbidden to go out of their home.

  • ARE FORBIDDEN

The sport activities (all kinds) in the public and private places.

  • BUSINESSES

The businesses must encourage the work force to take their yearly holidays during the period of crisis.

  • SKI PLACES

Closed.

  • SUSPENDED ACTIVITIES

All the events on the public or private places are cancelled: culture, fun, sport, religion, exhibition, events, cinemas, casinos, places for bingo, discos, swimming pool, well-being and thermal centers, social and educative centers.

  • EDUCATION SUSPENDED

All kinds of educational systems are suspended (kinder garden, primary school, middle school, high school, universities…
Are also suspended: the courses of Musical Art, the professional courses of all kinds.
The on-line education is advised.
The school teachers meetings are suspended.

  • RELIGION

The opening of the religious places are conditioned to the implementation of special measures.
A distance of one meter must be respected between each person.
All the ceremonies, civil, religious or funerals are suspended.

  • CLOSURE

The museums and places for culture are closed.

  • PUBLIC AND PRIVATE RECRUITMENT

They are suspended, except if they are made on-line.
All the public exams for health, medicine, civil protection should be organized on-line or by keeping a distance of one meter between each participant.

  • BARS AND RESTAURANTS

The bars and restaurants can open from 6 am to 6 pm. Some safety measures must be taken in the making of the food (gloves and masks) and for the information of the clients (one meter of distance between the clients).
If the rules are violated, the bars and restaurants have their activity suspended or closed.

  • COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES

They are authorized.
The commercial activities must guarantee the safety of the customers authorizing a few people inside.
The people are not allowed to join in a commercial center. They must keep the safety distance of one meter.
In case of violation of the rules, the commercial centers have their activity suspended.
If inside the commercial places, the distance of one meter between the people is not respected, the place is closed.

  • HOLIDAYS

For the medical sector, all days off or holidays are suspended in order to respond to the sanitary needs of the population.

  • ORGANIZATION OF THE WORK

As most as possible, the businesses should implement telework.
All the business meetings must be done on-line or videoconference.
The Medical Force can do meetings keeping a distance of one meter between each person.

  • A FEW DAYS BEFORE AND DURING EASTER HOLIDAYS

All the medium and big supermarkets, commercial centers and shops are closed (even the shopping centers and the local food-markets).

  • FOOD – NORMAL DAYS

All the supermarkets, shopping centers, food-markets are opened. The commercial place must guarantee the safety of the customers authorizing a few people inside.
The people are not allowed to join. They must keep the safety distance of one meter.
In case of violation of the rules, the activity is suspended.
If inside the supermarkets, shopping centers, food-markets, the distance of one meter between the people is not respected, the activity is suspended, the place is closed.

  • EXAMS

Suspended.
