The Monaco Yacht Show made a donation to the Prince Albert II of Monaco’s Foundation to fund environmental projects

The Monaco Yacht Show has been involved with the Prince Albert II of Monaco for several years regarding their sustainable developments commitments and especially to compensate the environmental footprint of the event.

Indeed, the Monaco Yacht Show gives a donation each year to the Prince Albert II of Monaco to fund environmental projects.

This donation is important.
It represents the commitment of the Monaco Yacht Show’s organizers.
It is also a strong sign sent from the yachting sector to the international environmental community to show that the industry is aware about its carbon footprint. Indeed, it’s a the whole sector that drives change with many innovations, like the solar panels installed on board of the yachts, or linking the sea transport and sustainable mobility, or supporting the environmental research in particular places…
The project led by the IMEDD with the Monaco Charter on Wood and the Monaco Sustainable Development Goals at the Monaco Yacht Show shows that this event in Monaco is a unique place in the world to federate the industry of yachting about the issues of sustainable development and environment.
